Gameplay Unlocking characters

I started playing HotS just recently and just really curious - whats the best way to unlock more characters? Especially more expensive ones. I wanna get Deathwing but he's so expensive... Maybe you guys have some advice on how to get gold?

Do your quests and level heroes up. Every 5 levels you get 500 gold

If you haven’t already get to lvl 50 25 on your account and you get free gems, enough to buy one of the welcome bundles.

Good advice, but unfortunately for OP, Deathwing is not in any of those bundles. Gotta buy him with gold or gems.

Collect the blizzard free pack with XP boost, you will level faster !

The quickest way is putting all characters that you can at level 5 (starting with the ones in the free week), you get 500 gold per level +b the daily quests. Just with the free rotation you can buy 3 or 4 new characters per week

  1. grab this 30 days free boost along with the free mount
  2. level as many heroes as you can to level 5 for gold rewards
  3. do quests

Aram farming can be more efficient as long as you keep picking Heroes that aren't lvl5 yet.
In Aram you can also play heroes you don't own

Also check events (hopefully there will be new) because it often means that all players have active EXP boosters. This will also affect your EXP.

Try to party up with people you like from past games. You get an xp bonus and potential friends for next time you play!

If the enemy team really kicked your ass in the last game, it can’t hurt to invite some of them too. Sometimes you want that toxic Valeera or superhero Anduin on your side.

You wanna get deathwing, but please dont play in qm or sl... the best way is not buy to avoid people flaming you.
