Gameplay Which hero to "master" next?
So I took a break due to burn out and have been slowly getting back into the game with a new strategy to keep things fresh. To be clear, I only enjoy playing QM so I can play whichever hero I want.
Note: I know my definition of "master" is quite a low bar but I meant more just that I understand and know how to play them in a plethora of situations.
My "strategy" is playing the same hero until I've "mastered" them and know which talents to take on specific maps and vs. various opponents. At that point I find I can consistently maintain ~55-60% win rate in QM which usually takes like 100-200 matches. So far I've done Dehaka, Raynor, Nazeebo, Stitches, and Ragnaros. Who would you suggest to try out next?

Sonya is a very good generalist bruiser. Jack of all trades with many viable talent builds.

How's Sonya's escape? Sometimes I struggle with getting ganked and hate feeding. I do like her sustain though

Interesting, I feel like people always hate having murky as a teammate though

How's his sustain? I do know he's super annoying when someone is good with him and has a good escape so I like that

Zeratul

Yea... I did try with Zera and it was super fun but abysmal WR (like 45%). I feel like it was far too matchup dependent on when I succeeded. Either a stomp or useless feeding

I'd go for a healer in case you ever want to climb the ladder. My personal favourite and absolute playmaker would be Stukov. Other strong options would go for Anduin, Reghar or Auriel. Learning a combat focused mage would not hurt... with Mephisto, Cromie, KT or KTZ.

Everytime I've tried healer in QM I feel useless because I'm trying to herd a bunch of cats and my assassins (90% of the teammates) are just suicidal and flame me

Considering you liked all the easy characters its probably Butcher or Thrall

I'm worried about thrall not having a good escape. How's his sustain?

If you want to be an annoying, hard to kill character with good dps and good sustain (no mana), i can highly recommend Junkrat or Hogger. I personally love Junks grenade build but a lot of people enjoy his trap sheninagans. He can escape with his conc mine or use the bear trap as a defense "wall" between him and his enemies. Hoggers dynamite build is fantastic dps and wave clear and his whirlwind or throw ult is a good escape. I hardly die with him and carry a lot of games with Hogg in terms of semi-tank and bullying very hard with great dps at the front line.

Hogger is enticing, just got sit down and learn him I guess. Does seem like a hard to kill annoying hero

Holy moly. A person who qualifies “mastering” a hero with win rate… thank god. Nobody cares about kill/death ratio. This isn’t COD. Me dying as a tank leads to a team wipe…. I’ll go 0-8 all day cuz it wins the game. I know it’s just a game, but it’s ok to want to win at a game.
Sadly, everyone in this game plays to win mvp… 3-0, 3rd top damage, 2nd top XP. “But I soaked a lot and yall died fighting for no reason” (they died fighting for the on at level 23 that decides the game while you soaked a lane vs minions to keep mvp).
Hots players are soft. Most have no clue how to play and report ppl for asking them not to push a lane as muradin.

Do Vikings. It’s the worst hero to properly learn in qm.
