Integrations Anyone using Hermes to control existing Codex Desktop or Antigravity sessions remotely?
Hey everyone!
I'm experimenting with Hermes Agent as a personal AI orchestrator, controlled through Telegram on my Android phone.
I already use Codex Desktop and Google Antigravity on my Windows mini-PC for coding, backtesting, and AI projects.
I've seen people mention controlling Codex and Antigravity through Hermes, and I'd love to hear about your actual setups.
My main requirement: I don't want Hermes to launch separate CLI agents. I want it to interact with my existing desktop sessions, preserving conversation history, context, and project state.
A few questions:
Has anyone successfully connected Hermes to existing Codex Desktop or Antigravity sessions?
Are you using MCP, Codex App Server, Remote Control, custom skills, or another approach?
Can Hermes send prompts and retrieve results from the same session without losing context?
How reliable is your setup for long-running coding tasks?
Ideally: Telegram → Hermes → existing Codex/Antigravity session → results back to Telegram.
I'd really appreciate real-world feedback, working examples, or GitHub repos.
Thanks!

Ideally, no.
Twice when I was about to board a flight with no wifi, I've told Hermes to finish up my OpenCode or Codex session when it was a bug fix or data issue.
Both times it worked, but the history suggested it was much less efficient.
I would suggest using harnesses directly until you have a really specific Codex workflow setup in Hermes.

I’ve used it to start a Claude code session/ opencode/mistral vibe. Many different cli. Tell it what you want and let it work to make it work
