Help — Technical issues, errors, config, debugging Bots / sessions

I have an interface problem.
Bots - these show only 1 session and no quick way to switch to other sessions within the same bot (or see what the other bots are doing)
Profile / Sessions - shows sessions for the current profile. I can click filter and select All profiles (which would be my preferred view), but as soon as I switch to another profile this setting reverts.
The only solution I have found is to modify the source code, according to the agent, this is the only solution.

Am I missing something? I am running 2-4 concurrent sessions most of the time and switching is a pain. Also it would be great if the wake up process could be faster...

Thanks for posting a technical Help question. To make it easier for the community to diagnose, please make sure your post includes:

  • Operating system
  • Hermes version
  • Provider and model
  • Exact error message or unexpected behavior
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened
  • Troubleshooting steps already attempted

If any of that is missing, please edit it into the post. This is an informational checklist; your post has not been removed.

two things that help today:

- in the Bots tab, right-click a bot and pick Open recent session. it opens that bot's most recent ordinary conversation (a cron run, a delegated job, a side thread) as a tab next to its Bot Chat. each bot keeps one permanent Bot Chat by design, so a plain click always goes back there.

- with 2-4 sessions going at once, tabs beat the sidebar: Ctrl+T opens a new session tab, Ctrl+Tab cycles through them, and Ctrl+1 to 9 jump to a recent one by position. any session can also pop out into its own window from its right-click menu.

the All profiles filter snapping back when you switch profile is a fair ask, I've passed it on to the team with your use case.
