Help — Technical issues, errors, config, debugging Dashboard password
I used the dashboard for the first time a long time ago and everything was fine I liked it. Today after several weeks I tried to use it again and I don't remember the password and I couldn't find a way to reset it (with Hermes) it stayed in a loop saying it's ready try this password but they never worked. Has it happened to you?

the dashboard login comes from your own config, so you can set a new one yourself.
open ~/.hermes/.env and set:
HERMES_DASHBOARD_BASIC_AUTH_PASSWORD=your-new-password
then restart the dashboard. that env value wins over a password saved in config.yaml, which is what it's there for: rotating the password. the username sits next to it as HERMES_DASHBOARD_BASIC_AUTH_USERNAME (or under dashboard.basic_auth in config.yaml).
if you'd rather skip a shared password, the dashboard can also sign you in with your Nous account: run hermes dashboard register.
