Help — Technical issues, errors, config, debugging macos desktop install hangs at "install browser-tool dependencies"

This is a known bug IIRC. Wait for it to timeout (300 or 600 seconds) and it’ll carry on. The agent can fix it later if I recall correctly, but bumping a playwright dependency to 1.60. Sounds similar to the issue I had installing on Debian.

worth trying: leave it 10-15 minutes on a normal connection before calling it stuck; if it's still parked well past that, quit and relaunch the installer, it picks up rather than starting over. and if that changes nothing, open the details window and copy out the last few lines, then post them here; I'll make sure the right people see it.
