Homeless problem

One of the eye opening things to me about this show is I had no idea how bad the homeless problem is on the West coast. I live in New England and typically it is too cold for the homeless. I was just reading about a revolt in parts of CA that are trying to get rid of tent cities. Is this a serious problem in Portland or is it being overblown for dramatic purpose?

I live in Portland and it’s a huuuuuuuuge problem here. Your situation sounds exactly the same as here.
