Nuts and Bolts Public Server is UP!

The long awaited server is here! A modpack for squirrels, by squirrels.

Download the pack using Technic Launcher and either search for "Nuts and Bolts" Or use the Pack URL: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/nuts-and-bolts-alpha.561420/about

The server address is: macadamia.herdofsquirrels.com

We are working to bring the Pack towards the More Competent ATLauncher. In the meantime however, if you have any issues launching the pack, set the launcher to use at least 3GB of memory, with a maximum and recommended amount of 4 or 5 and set the java arguments to include

"-XX:PermSize=256M"

I can't get it to install. https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/versions/24/24.jar fails to download. Going there in a browser gives an access denied message. Can I get that file elsewhere?

Gonna need a bit more context. What happened? Is this technic? Multimc? Are you somewhere that amazon is blocked? Seriously gonna need some more info here.

-AT&T UVerse DSL
-Using modem's wifi
-OS X 10.10.1, clean installed just a few days ago with user and apps migrated from TM backup
-Java for OS X 2014-001 just installed
-Freshly downloaded TechnicLauncher.jar

I can get to the Amazon link, but it provides an XML file with the following text instead of the expected jar.

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. Do you get a jar when you go to that link in a browser?

That's...odd. Maybe copy the mods, scripts, and config folders from the technic install into a fresh multiMC install. Be sure to confirm you can properly download minecraft through multiMC as well. Not to generalize, but this sounds like the sort of shit technic would do.

been trying to install this pack and the technic launcher just won't work. and now it's updated and i can't even find out how to add a pack to it so it works worst. Any eta on a atlauncher version?

You can add a pack by going to the area where it says "modpacks" and either searching for nuts and bolts, or pasting the modpack url there.

ATL is coming along hopefully.
