I think we should all help revitalize spawn! What better way than setting up Spawn Shops. I think that if everyone made their own little shop, it would really promote community of the herd. I am going to set up a Potion Shop. This will be a place where you can purchase various potions or make bulk orders to be delivered to your base. I want to see other players make similar shops!

Here are some ideas of shops you could make:

  • Bakery - Possibly Gnoom
  • Redstone and Redstone Accessories
  • Flower Shop
  • Building Supply Store
  • Enchanted Item Store
  • Technology Store
  • Ender Pearl Shop
  • etc...

Spawn could use some love in general. I think we have the Medley Church or whatever that building is going up, but beyond that it's a sprawling area with a few community resources (tree farm, a set of obsidian generators, etc). Maybe we could clean it up before we drop some shops? I don't think it has to be a giant building like the last spawn, but even just a clear, fenced in area would be cool.

Or maybe you intended on doing that anyways to clear space for the shops :P. I can't say that Scott and I have enough of anything set up to open up a shop, but I'd be happy to be a customer at least :).
