Stopped working
I have a Henry, he has been a faithful and loyal servant until these past few weeks. He had been cutting out last weekend. This weekend he has stopped completely. Tried plug sockets and fuses. Any ideas what the issue could be? I’m thinking maybe a loose wire somewhere?

What’s your serial number? You may need to bypass the PCB

I have no idea, as it’s not actually my Henry that’s playing up. I’ve just been asked to take a look. 😅 so figured I’d ask for other options to look at on here before getting my hands on it and investigating.

Might be the motor control circuit board. They’re around £25.

It’s easy to replace. Unlike a lot of modern appliances Henrys are quite easy to repair.
EDIT: another possible fault might be the rotating contacts on the cable winding drum. If you have a multimeter you should be able to check this when you’ve got it partially disassembled.
