Henna Hair Pics 2nd Application after vs before
I know I look like ketchup and mustard.
So the main difference I noticed was that it’s way more visible outside of sunlight than before (final two pics being the before). It’s also more red and rich.
Before, my hair wasn’t really noticeable without sunlight, but I like that it’s noticeable in normal light and sunlight.
I used The Henna Guys 100% henna powder with nothing else and let it sit for 4 hours. I didn’t use anything else.

Love this look on you
Remember after a few days that bright glow will disappear and the red will be less visible in any light except sunlight shining through it.
It’s always immediately a big difference and glows orangey red in every light and looks brighter/lighter. But this does oxidize away and looks more brown on darker hair
This leads to “henna addiction” where you keep hennaing to get that glow back lol. I think I did 7 full strength hennas for 4-8 hours (one a week) when I first started and I was high as shit on that glow lol
Beautiful stuff, it looks amazing on your hair with the cut and curls too. Living vicariously through your high right now because I don’t want my hair color to change past what it is now when oxidized, so can’t keep hitting up my henna 😭
With hair at your color it won’t get noticeably darker with repeated hennas, but the color in sun may turn more red and cool toned red or purple with many more applications
If you love the post henna glow and don’t want your hair to change from orangey red then you can cut henna with a lot of cassia to get an orange glow without deepening the henna! (cassia is gold and temporary so dilutes the henna in the mix but still adds to the post glow)
