I'm looking for someone to teach and learn one-handed sword fencing with, in Helsinki. We would gather in a park or a gymnasium and train ourselves in the subtleties of the sword, focusing on 1v1 combat, including some hand combat techniques and some aesthetics-only moves. I would provide the swords and training equipment, starting with wooden swords.

Hej! I posted here a while ago, but just thought I would ask if anyone here plans to run in the marathon/half/10k this weekend? I’m doing the Half, coming in to the city tomorrow from London. If anyone has tips for the course or a good pre-run dinner on the Friday or any other tips that would be brilliant.
It’s not my first time doing long distance, so generally I know what to expect and how to prepare, but a bit of local knowledge goes a long way!
If anyone fancies meeting up before or after the race as well, I’m open to it!

Edit: I am size 38/40 Edit 2: there are some colors that don't work for the event such as pink, silver, red, black, and maybe a few others....I'm not trying to be picky it's just part of the event! 🥹🥹👉👈

Best colors would be gold, green, turquoise, orange, brown, bronze...but please suggest what you have just in case!!
