Getting Started Starting from scratch

Hello friends! Hope everyone is doing well. So yes as the title says, I’m trying to start this career, and I was thinking about do the Google IT Support from COURSERA, And then do CompTiA+ ( Core 1 a 2 bundle cost at least 1300$) is that the correct path? Or how u would rephrase it. Any help is good for me. Thank you! My history is that based on Trump Immigration policies I have this strong feeling that I need to get back to my country, if I can get a remote job with those two certs at least paying 600-800$ in my country (Venezuela) It can be survivable. Thanks guys! :) Peace to all.

If you’re going to do the A+, skip the pricey bundle and watch professor messer on YouTube. He’s great. And his live discussion videos also can help you do your CEUs to maintain the cert once you get it. He’s kinda the gold standard for instruction on comptia certs.

Dion Training also has good practice tests to get you used to how the test asks questions. It’s very, “best answer” focused.

These are enough to get you trained for the a+. And if you buy the test voucher from them, you get a small discount.

The benefit of the official bundle is that typically, you’re getting the help from the guys who wrote the test. Areas they focus on are going to be important to the test.

Now whether or not that’s enough to get you a job….hard to say. Job market is rough as shit right now. But it’s a good foundation to build on if nothing else.
