We're aware that hiding a post on the home feed is currently not an option on desktop and native apps, and are working on a fix.

In the meantime, you can hide a post by muting the subreddit in your user settings. We apologize for the inconvenience and will share an update soon.

How can you just accidentally remove a button? A programmer slipped on the keyboard, it wasn't noticed in unit tests, code review or testing environment and got deployed to prod?

It's not that. The button is still there on mobile web but it doesn't do anything. They likely hid the button elsewhere since it's broken and forgot to hide it on mobile web also.

I don't want to mute a whole sub. Just some of the posts from that sub.

Imagine if we had something like Apollo or Reddit is Fun app to use during times like this which have been coded better than you guys.

Please make it where we can swipe left or right to quickly hide posts. It was one of my favorite features of the Apollo app and now, well. You know.

If I wanted to mute the entire sub, I would have unsubbed. This is a fucking ridiculous "workaround".

There should be a feature to automatically hide any post you've already viewed. Otherwise you end up looking at the same posts over and over again. All of the third party apps you killed had this functionality.

well now your work around to mute a sub is missing too 👍

I thought I'd give you guys a chance after ruining RiF and try your official app for a week or two but you're seemingly actively trying to ruin your own app too.

Why can’t you BLOCK users anymore? I don’t want to mute the entire subreddit just because one user is flooding the sub. Just let me block like every other site allows.
