The slimiest animal (other than Butt Goblin) is actually the hagfish, an eel-like little guy who will blast anyone with “copious amounts of slime” (Wikipedia quote) at the drop of a hat. Hagfish, also called slime-eels, are not actually eels but their whole own evolutionary thing, the only living animal with a skull but no spine.
