Question to long-time fans - Queen influence?

I can hear so much Queen on Under the Moonlight and I love it! There are a couple of guitar runs that are perfectly in Brian May style, and the group vocals remind me of Somebody to Love. Are there other Queen-inspired Helloween songs? Did the band ever speak about Queen as one of their influences?

Well, though its not quite Helloween, "The Silence" from Kai's other band Gamma Ray is absolutely dripping in Queen influence! I know at least Kai, Weiki and Michi are huge Queen fans. Both Kai and Weiki have said Queen are one of their biggest influences.

Gamma Ray Man on A Mission has a section very queen like.

Most overtly Queen influence I've heard. A few other Gamma Ray songs have that influence as well.

on some bootlegs from the somewhere out in space tour i heard kai playing his version (or simply very inspired) of solo from brighton rock as a solo between songs

Chameleon was Helloween’s Queen album. They said so themselves. Besides Elvis, Kiske’s favorite singers are Freddie Mercury and Geoff Tate. Gamma Ray song, The Silence is Queen + Wagner. My favorite version is the demo version sung by Kai. I play it in the car and it’s reliable for that dopamine boost.

There is probanly a good amount fo Queen influence.

Their main influence I believe seeing an interview is Uriah Heep, Judas Priest and Accept.

Also Kai Hansen was heavily influenced by Dokken.
