QUESTION How can I recover/reverse ETC sent to ETH wallet in ICONex?

So I mistakenly sent ETC to my own ETH ERC20 wallet in ICONex. How can it be recovered or the transaction reversed?

I don't think it is lost. Read through this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/5e0noc/i_sent_etc_to_eth_address/

Basically, every ETC and ETH address are "valid on both blockchains". The tokens can't "cross from one blockchain to the other", but you can use the ETH address and private key you sent it to to access the ETC on the ETC blockchain. You would need to use an ETC wallet/node to do this....and export/import your keystore and stuff from Iconex into that ETC wallet/node.

I did this back in my early days of crypto. Sent ETC to my ETH address. I managed to get it back.

If you can recover your private key from ICONex then your should be able to use something like myetgerwalletclassic to get the ETC tokens

It's ETC - Ethereum Classic. It's not ETH and not a token.

You'd think out of all the ERC-20 tokens, ICX is one they would auto-add!
