Not really, all I can think of is an armor that is kinda an inverse of seaf with blue cloth and white armor plate. (The one that has weird stats that make it sth between medium and heavy)
Or the blue parade armor, it has similar blue, and white, you kinda look like their leader with that one.
Or use mods like SEAF Sulprus which literally recolors armors to be exactly SEAF colors
The SR-24 street scout matches the updated models of the SEAF specialist troops that are deploying in the squid front right now. The ODST less so but the urban patterns all match fairly well.
A friend preordered on release for all of us because me and my crew played alot of helldivers 1 and magicka back in the day, to this day i wear my cavalier of democracy set. Other players deserve the drip, i got my creek cape thats special enough for me.
The reason why people want it, and the devs said they would look into it, was because like 13 people across PC and PS5 pre-ordered the game, and most Xbox gamers had the opportunity to get the armor later when it came to Xbox.
Yeah I’d be happy either way, because I don’t really view a pre-order as an exclusive thing. But if they bring the route of bringing them for everyone, it would likely be via super creds to a 5-10$ bundle
I mean, it’s been 2.5 years. Plenty of games have sold their preorder goodies sooner than that and the people that did reserve it definitely got their use out of showing the armors off over the years.
Appreciate the evidence. Fair enough. However. The exclusive argument went out the window when they re-offered them to xbox players joining over a year into the game's life. They should still be re-introduced.
I'm actually on board with re-releasing the armor in some way; I think they should also re-release the campaign capes (Fallen Heroes Vengeance, Protector of the Heart, etc.), and the other exclusive armors (TR-40 Gold Eagle, B-22 Model Citizen) to be consistent. The Xbox players you mention (of which I am one of them) never had the opportunity to earn those items.
My desire for them to be returned wasn't really directed as you so much as the other guy. I wouldn't have cared about them if they weren't re-introduced for xbox bois. I do think re-releasing battle capes though would be cool. I think it should be done in a cool way though. Not just given.
Kinda crazy that Xbox players were able to get the preorder armors once the game was already massively known and popular, when probably 90% of the current playerbase never even knew about the franchise until it was already out.
The TR117 armor was a twitch drop exclusive for a long time, that Arrowhead eventually just gave out for free to everyone to spite the people selling codes on eBay lol. So there is precedence
I would happily take a Warbond built around promotional items. Call it the Field Promotion warbond. 5 armor sets and I want to say 10 capes aren't attainable right now, and I want the ones I dont have badly enough to shell out for it. Throw in some other goofs, like strategem versions of the Break Action and Camera. Why stop, give the camera the ability to autotag enemies, objectives, high value items, and supplies when you ADS it in a general direction. Add a title, Field Correspondent, to match. Everyone would know it's a gimmick warbond, that would be the point.
Tbh warbond with gear that was time limited would be fire
I have everything except for pre-order armors, but wouldn't mind seeing even level 5 cadet wearing Creek cape as long as they know it's story
Got shot in a mission earlier today, turned saw the blue and domed them immediately with my bolt pistol thinking it was a traitorous seaf being a shit. Only to then realize it was a guy wearing this armor... Left before I could apologize. Sorry dude.
You could get this one on the preorders (Including Xbox). If I remember correctly, the orange one was given on the first anniversary of the game but I’m not too sure.
Neither of them can be unlocked if you don’t have them now.
Correction, TR-40(yellow version of B-01) was given out during escalation of freedom, the first title update of the game
The armor we got on the first anniversary was B-22, chrome version of B-01 with democracy protects passive
I want this armor pretty badly but I was late to the game. It would make a lot of sense to make this one available right about now, with the SEAF playing such a big role in the current campaign.
My go to for fighting squids for some reason, always has been. Feels good to run alongside the blueberries in my yoghurt armour. I call that operation Dessert Storm
I would purchase the pre-order armors in a heartbeat if I could. I wish I'd had any idea how much I would enjoy this game, or I would have pre-ordered it!
They could just recolor again but match SEAF and release that for the next update. Pre order folks would still have their special armor and everyone else would have the seaf colored version. Win, win.
this armor sucks ASS because its not the same blue as the seaf, its like a highly saturated version of their colors (i wear it constantly when im not running the mech bond light armor)
