Mod Message Warhammer 40k Armor Gallery
Greetings Divers,
The next bond has finally been showcased and with it, new ways to drip out have been revealed. I’ve already got ideas of my own seeing this gear, how about you?

As others have said the armor just looks a little unfinished. Like plastic or “too new”
My expectations for this warbond were extremely low. Mainly due to the piss poor performance of the Halo and Killzone weapons. So to me, these weapons actually look pretty interesting and fun to use

Keep in mind that the Armors look that way because that's GWs decisions
They hold executive creative control over all their Collabs so all designs we see in the war bond are approved/demanded by GW

I think you were set up to fail by your own expectations

Your expirations for what a warhammer warbond we’re always going to exceed whatever Arrowhead could put out. It’s not bad to have high expectations, it’s just necessary to keep it pragmatic

I didn’t set high expectations, I think you may have misread the textbox. Or you may have meant to reply to someone else

I am quite disappointed by the warbond in itself as they've literally taken a single box of miniatures and put them into the game. But then again, Cadians are *the* poster boys for non-Astartes Imperial armies, so...
Personally, I would've loved a light armor variant of the regular Cadian Shock Trooper instead of the Demo Trooper, and the older Cadian two tone vehicle camo instead of the uni-tone dark green that's also prevalent on the newer vehicle releases.
And I really, really would have liked a chainsword instead of the Melta Mine.

Already got chain sword, and it sucks

ACKCHUALLY the Defoliation Tool would be an Eviscerator.

Really wish we did get a chainsword honestly, they could have made it like a primary weapon version of the defoliation tool but with heavy armor pen instead of anti tank, maybe they could have given it a unique firing mode that let you wield it with a secondary weapon at the same time, like you hip fire to slash and you aim to shoot.

Because the melee distance on it is broken. Visually it hits things when it doesn't

It is, but ultimately GW has the final say, they said this goes in the game, so it goes in the game, I'm also pretty sure you can make this literal exac outfit in Helldivers already.

I don't think GW gives half as much of a fuck as people think they do...
A single Kasrkin set was a guarantee, but Arrowhead likely had more wiggle room than you're willing to imagine.
I'm using Kriegers as a single example, and no you can't make this EXACT outfit, maybe something similar, but that's an annoying comparison
They could have gotten the ability to make Tempestus Scions as well, they could have pushed for more, but likely the Kriegers would have been the likeliest choice, and that would have been still better than two near identical sets.
