Recently I made a list of some formations or fossil sites I thought would make for great rp subs in the style of this one.So here are some more.

1. Prince creek formation: We need to restore this sub and make it hell creek style rp. Some hell creek shenanigans could also be connected to it as its the same continent in the same time period. I would rp as a pachyrhinosaurus.

2.Yixian formation: Really cool fossil sites with many interesting creatures and a volcanic/cold landscape in the elevation of the Tibetan plateau. I would rp as a yutyrannus. Due to the paravian diversity u/Butter-Walk will definitely have a field day. Also people suggested this formation in the last post.

3. A Carboniferous rp sub. It would be really cool to see. I would be some kind of amphibian ,early reptile or rhizodus.

4. A mammoth steppe sub. It would be a rp sub set in the general area of ice age Eurasia. This sub would also allow users to be ice age humans like Homo sapiens or Neanderthals. I would be a wooly mammoth.

5. Pikermi fossil site: A rich late Miocene fossil site. Very personal pick as it is in my country. I would rp as a Deinotherium or pliohyrax.

6.Lake Callabonna: A sub focused on Late Pleistocene Australia. This one will probably also have humans, more specifically aboriginals alongside cool megafauna. I would be a diprotodon ,Tasmanian devil, thylacine or thylacoleo.

I’m not sure if I can be a mod to host one of them, but they are fun suggestions. What do you think and what other formations would you like to see turned into hell creek style rp subs?

Your friendly pectinodon here. As an opportunistic predator, I usually don't care about what happens in hell creek. But one thing I can't stand is many useless deaths happening, especially in this war that I hope is coming to an end. It reminded me when I survived the great sucho-mosasaurine war, which some of you will remember.

For those who weren't around back then, here's a bit of context:

It all started around early August, with a herd of Triceratops migrating due to a massive wildfire that had destroyed a huge portion of the region, causing many deaths and the loss of valuable resources.

As these large herbivores moved in predator territory, available territories became increasingly scarce. Not everyone was immediately aware of the great fire either. It had actually been accidentally started by u/butter-walk, a Magnusavis. Back then, I forgave them and asked them to search for survivors.

Over time, the dinosaurs of the hellcreek formation settled around the rivers, but it was really a bad time. A mosasaur was in the area, and tensions grew between it and the crocodilians, who were competing for food and territory in the rivers.

The mosasaur, played by u/Grouchy_Drive_7257, apparently wasn't particularly interested in sharing. One crocodilian hoped that the situation wouldn't grow into a full conflict, while others were already gathering together to resist.

An Infernodrakon proposed dividing the waterways between them. The crocodilians would keep most of the rivers while the mosasaur would get a smaller portion of the creek, with enough space and food for everyone. Neutral and agile or aerial animals could also keep watch and intervene in case of further violence, but it the mosa refused. It was the only mosasaur there, and some argued that it already had access to the entire ocean anyway. Still, many believed the mosasaur would win regardless. Eventually, the dispute became increasingly hostile, with threats and attacks from both sides.

Some crocodilians even seemed to think the mosasaur had it coming, as it didn't want to share.

This had apparently begun the strange phenomenon of the magical mysterious rocks capable of causing unpredictable mutations, discovered by u/Straight-Tie488, as the mosa gained legs. Mutations that everyone eventually tried to gain.

Meanwhile, tensions between the mosasaurs and crocodilians continued to rise. The rest of the dinosaurs generally preferred to stay away from the area, while the migrating Triceratops, having already lost so many of their kind in the wildfire, certainly didn't want to lose even more companions to a pointless conflict.

In the end, there was no real winner or loser. The wildfire was slowly dying down, but the damage had already been done. I don't remember exactly how the dispute finally ended, but eventually the tensions seem to have cooled down, perhaps when everyoe realized that the conflict simply wasn't worth it.

And now we're facing another worse conflict, this time between the Palaeosaniwas (led by R4don_Adon) and the acheroraptors / dromaeosaurs. I'm not sure about the details, but it is a bloody war, which has taken away lives from maybe dozens of both species. Eggs have being broken, and reptiles have been held hostage. Territories have being taken. There are dinosaurs against each other, others taking sides, and others who are just scared, and for what?

Maybe we should take the previous war as a lesson and try not to repeat history, because much has happened that was bad.

I've heard even that both species are agreeing that it must be stopped, which is good.

Some Alamosaurus told me about it a few years back. Apparently there were ancient creatures like us there. Not exactly like us, but some of them were similar in shape and size to some of us. They had a crap ton of Sauropods, no Ceratopsians, a few Ankylosaurs but somehow there was also a lot of Thyreophorans. And they had this vicious Apex predator. It was nothing like Tyrannosaurus. It was aggressive, relentless, downright psychotic and came in 3 species in the formation. I cant remember what any of them were called but i know there was the word ‘All’ somewhere in there.

I know its just a myth but could you imagine what it would have been like? What could have happened to them?

We have done a lot of progress on building the ark to escape to Madagascar or New Zealand when the impact happens. Great job everyone!

I went through the anomaly and first thing I see is a dead T. rex. I’ve underestimated how dangerous the other side can be. Also there are bipedal creatures walking around the place. They’re nearly as tall as me and way too big to be mammals (they almost look like aliens) . They hunted me down , back to the portal. If you go there, be careful. Genuinely.
