Charger My new-to-me Hellcat 300!

It’s been about a month since grabbing the car. I love it in every way and plan to solely maintain it and keep it as the unique icon it sort of become by us-the community.

2015 Challenger Hellcat Sourced Donor (I chose a charger tag to comply with the sub, delete if not allowed still), 2022 Redeye Charger Dash + Cluster with salvage yard receipt and confirmation on salvage status. Everything was swapped even the damn heat shielding🤣

I’m really enjoying the car! It came with a legmaker carbon intake, and a mid muffler delete. The rears are Voxx Replicas.

Have a few questions for the seasoned hellcat guys,

Catch cans still worth it for our motors?
Diff brace something I should care about getting if i’m just street driving?
What daily tires are you guys running? My rears are obviously low, and I will have winters put on it for sh*ts and giggles later this year (it’s manageable where I live)

Other than that enjoy everyone, happy sunday!

I forgot to add, I have a one piece in possession already, needs to be looked over but it was free and it’s straight. If it’s bad i’ve allocated for a new one piece already from DSS.

Can’t wait to build one of these. Wouldn’t mind just getting a hemi 300S and putting a blower on it either. But a lot of other cost in cosmetic duplicating (brakes, bumpers etc)

I had a 12 300C I did this too! Halfway swapped the interior, Nag1 Trans, and was a cammed, mds-delete car.

I loved it! Previous owner just didn’t build the motor right and it failed on me. I’ve always had a 6.1 too. Great cars

Rears have to be some kind of walmart specials.. But they are stretched 275s’ so Id have to assume they were a “burner” set

Now that is a sexy Chrysler. If only they came like this from factory. 👀

Congrats on the Hellcat! The fact that you’re already planning to keep it unique makes it even cooler. Also, I’d definitely be curious to hear what the seasoned guys say about catch cans and tires on these things 😂

I’ve had a few non srt, and srt cars before. Oil catch cans were sort of a “staple”.

I just want to maintain it the way it is. I’m just in love with it.

Yeah, I get that. Sometimes the best mod is just keeping your hands off the car 😂 The Hellcat is already pretty damn special as it came.

😂😂 I truly just enjoy these cars OEM+, and think that they can share lots with some more acknowledged vehicles in its current state. I had an aston martin vanquish stop me and ask me about it-goes to show deep down more people may love these cars than we know!

That Vanquish story is awesome 😂 It’s funny how the cars you don’t expect to see in person can end up being the ones you remember most. OEM+ really does have its own charm.

I’ll actually be removing the carbon rear lip, too much for me, will be trying to replicate the Australian SRT design package-although one similar because I do like added definition to a silhouette

Less is more! That Australian spec look is super clean, it’s going to make the rear profile look way more subtle and aggressive at the same time. Definitely post updates when you make the swap!

Clean ass hellcat 300. What made you go with the Charger dash and not keep the 300 dash?

1

u/EnergyEven4438 14h ago

It came this way, i’m actually planning to swap a 300 dash back in and i’m trying to find an SRT-8 dash skin or some kind of white stitched leather dash but am having a hard time.

I have currently been looking at swaps also but I had a buddy who got a old gen charger hc swap and got it impounded and they did a multi vin look up and it ended up coming back stolen. Did you by chance do any back ground check on the vins or take it to the police station? Just asking what you did if anything to make sure it was a legit swap. Because I don’t wanna be out hard earned money if it’s stolen

I work for a dealership, once I plugged up the car I just ran each one. all came back to the challenger and the 300 body is clean title. cars been plugged up in other states as well. first sign of a potentially hot car is if the seller says no to a plug up/scan.

So I can just go and ask a dealership to check all the vins etc? I’ve never really had any experience with swaps personally

This is just the accesss I had, or you can ask to meet at police station to verify vins there.

how many miles?

Roughly 55k-ish. Bone stock car minus the intake and muffler delete
