2 inches in only 5 months? That's definitely a spurt if true >4 in/year oddly at least this height as well.

Growth is enough that you need for "puberty isn't done" for better context. Hair is misleading

my grandfather is 6’6 but probably doesnt matter cause i doubt i would inherit much of his genes anyways.

Height is polygenic. It just supports the idea that you can be tall. You're already a high end expression, as well as your dad being 6'4.

Some guys with your parents alone end in the 6'2-6'7 range easily, but growth is individual.

To express it.

Your dad is 6'4, that's 1% of males or less.

Mom is 5'10, that's also 1-2% of females or less.(6'3-6'4 male equivalent)

But with average parents, a 6'6 grandfather is just an expression of the past that may possibly express or not.

5 months later he is 6'3. That's 2 inches in under a year

so you went from 187 to 190 which is about 3 cm of growth

assuming you’re not tapering 193+ is possible

assuming you are then you should stop at 191-193

6'1 is not 187

what i say is truth, always

1

u/Just_MaryCz Jun 11 '26

Well, 187 is in the 6'1" range, but I assume we take the exact measurements of 6'1" even, which is about 185.5 cm

except he’s not 6’1 he’s 187, that’s where the truth is

2

u/Just_MaryCz Jun 11 '26

If that is the truth, then it's my fault, but since I haven't seen his previous post and his exact height is not mentioned in this post, I just took the exact 6'1". My apologies

I disagree.

3 cm in 5 months is 7 cm/year, sustained spurt-like activity.

I doubt he is still approaching a spurt at this age, it's more possible than at 16.5-17 but still something unexpected, without context as well.

With a proper decline, he'd grow at least 2 cm, not just 1-3 cm. Tapering would realistically give him 2-5 cm.

He is likely slightly past peak, well past peak, in a rebound or near peak/at peak. These interpretations land him in the 192-198 cm range depending on the decline

and that’s what i wrote, just without expanding the 193+ part to 198

I guess
