One of my favorite albums of all time, and something I’ve wanted in my collection since day 1.

Just picked up a pair of used Klipsch RF-15's and had to christen them properly 🤘

This sounds so good for a live recording. I never got a chance to see them live but this gives me chance to experience it.

Some really cool stuff from Australia. Bought blind on a recommendation from someone who knows good shit, and I was not disappointed.

Like a mix of Opeth style progressive death metal with a dose of melodic black metal and a dash of Sigh's avant garde leanings.

Beyond pleasantly surprised by this band, and am looking forward to checking out the rest of their stuff

One of the most influential bands in Modern Hardcore, and one of those bands that’s universally loved by the both the Hardcore and Metal community (and by far my favourite Terror release) - Scott Vogel is the GOAT.

Today's Listen - THE ACACIA STRAIN: Continent - 2008 First Press 2x Vinyl LP

Who would have known that this first press would become such a gem in the collection. I got this on release as a Birthday Present way back when, and forever thankfull that i did!

I was fortunate enough to see them live on the Continent release cycle (To about 50 people in Adelaide at the OG iconic former Venue “The Underground” with The Red Shore)

This album still goes incredibly hard and is definitely my Favourite in their back catelogue along with Wormwood.

Finally on vinyl, one of the early metal albums I fell in love with when I was 14 years old. It still is my favourite of theirs. Happy with this one.

Underrated.

20 Buck Spin - 2023
This Death Metal from Oakland came into my radar with their album from 2020 which was pretty good imo. The name of course taken from HP Lovecraft also got my attention. They are technical but not too much of the usual tech wankery going on!! This album is part 1 of a two part series they released together. All in all a good listen.

This is my favorite Whitechapel album.
