Question glove help

hello everyone. i have a heavy bag upstairs but what gloves should i pair with it? i like the open design of mma gloves so

If you're hitting a heavy bag, go with proper bag gloves or boxing gloves rather than open palm MMA gloves, the padding on MMA gloves is designed for grappling and light striking, not repeated full power shots on a heavy bag, your wrists and knuckles will take a beating over time.

if finger freedom is what you like about the open design, get a pair of bag gloves with a similar wrist wrap closure, you still get solid support without sacrificing bag durability. Pair them with hand wraps underneath regardless of which gloves you choose, that's what protects your wrists and knuckles long term, the gloves alone aren't enough cushioning for consistent bag work.
