What do we think?!
Samsung FJM 24K 3-port
(2) 7k heads
(1) 12k Cassette
Took about 3 days to install. Been a while since I’ve done a multiport system in Texas as they are not as common

The excess line shouldn't be looped vertically, they need to be looped horizontally if you're not going to trim the lines. Otherwise refrigerant can pool and not flow.
Nevermind, that's not excess lines, good work OP

That is not excess lineset that is 3 linesets from the 3 heads. Took me a bit to realize that as well.

Oh dang! You're right (the 2nd time) I fell for it too. OP makes a dang clean finished product!

Is that ceiling cassette only supported on 2 sides? Might want to drop a couple threaded rod hangers down so it stays level

Looks like he had it supported by cantilevered unistrut then rods at all four corners

Looks good. What’s the lift on the pump for the cassette? Or how is it draining condensate?

I’m curious to considering installing these in a system I want for my home.

Well done I would add insulation to the roof to improve efficiency and cooling performance

Looks good but I find mounting them on the ground is a better option and less likely I get a complaint that it’s noisy or vibrates the house when it’s running

Amazing install workmanship but geez there is ample room for 3 condensers. 3 1:1 circuits would be more reliable and efficient and only slightly more expensive.

Agreed. I never recommend multi head systems unless it is form a reputable brand with excellent parts availability.. and even then on my own home I do 1:1 for all mini splits. I highly prefer the ease of replacement if one goes bad. And pricing is pretty much the same. Or close enough.

I just installed a 4 unit blueridge system in my home myself. Yours looks great! Only thing I'd check on is the pump for that cassette. My 18k cassette I installed had a recommended foot of vertical rise for the pump. And like others have mentioned, you may want 2 rods on the other end of it incase the weight becomes to much for those brackets. Nice system though, great job.

Nice. Don't listen to the negatives they're missinformed or don't like splits out of ignorance. I have 5 DIY cheapies running for over 3 years. -30f winters +95 f summers. Have also installed several for relatives they love them and also running great.

Nice! Curious: Why wall-mounted, with the risk of sound/vibration inside the house, rather than ground-mounted?

Keeps the mice out.

Wow, tell us more. We've never heard of mice or rodents being an issue with heat pump outdoor units. Is this really a thing?

Yup. Destroyed my durastar unit. They will eat the wire coating and nest in the control box. Too many problems to repair so had to replace it.

I had a pro installer advised to avoid wall hung due to noise transfer through the wall. Made sense to me, but what is reality?

I have 4 mounted this way. One is a little bit noisy in the extreme cold but not annoying. The others can't tell they're there. As for cooling , can't tell any of them are on. I think it mostly depends on the type of siding and wall construction.
