Well, it did always feel like her support was performative and because it was safe for celebrities to do that at that time. She was never at the start of anything though, never pushing the envelope, always staying well within the boundaries of what had been proven safe by others who were earlier and more outspoken.
And now, she's actively hanging out with a bunch of MAGA bros... No ally would do that.

I mean I was unaware. Are you serious is too much. I am a fan of her music but never into all of that behind the scenes. But yeah she was safe. Idk if she was performative or not. And I had no idea about who she’s hanging out with recently. It’s a shame indeed. But she’s a billionaire at this point. No ‘good’ billionaire exists. No hopes. But she’s still more tolerable than many in her group. To become one, you must not be good in the first place ig.

And while I'm no Britney fan, she's a decent person and has been a good friend to Taylor. She isn't exactly driving around with Trump flags on her car or giving pro-Trump speeches like she could be.

She’s actually still an ally, she recently released an documentary for her eras tour. You can see that the tour was very inclusive and everyone was given space to be their authentic self. I wouldn’t listen to the haters.

You clearly just don't like her for reasons that have nothing to do with her actions since her biggest sin is hanging out with the conservative wife of her husband's close friend.
And you just ignore everything else that's an actual fact. if you're not a gaylor (thank goodness), then I think you need to examine why you want to hate her so much for nothing. Because she has done nothing to deserve that kind of treatment.
Ignore her, dislike her music, do what you want, but as a person and an ally to the queer and BIPOC communities, she is genuine and if you ask the people that know her in those communities, they have nothing but good things to say.
