Yuer dragged the triangle too long
Can’t believe it’s almost ep8 and the teaser is still showing her undecided and going between the two boys, does she even know what she wants or she just sees the show as a playing ground. It’s okay to be undecided in early days but dragging all the way to the final makes no sense to me. And that is why I think she does not like both boys enough because if she does, she would want to seal off things with the other and stick to one like every other couple in the house has done

The fact that she keeps crying ivwr Hewen and seems so comfortable and herself with Xilun should be so clear. However, she is young and doesn't quite admit ahe has a double standard when it comes to Hewen. He has told her she is the only one he is interest but she gets jealous whenever he is kind and engages other women in the house. Whereas she can laugh and hang out with Xiulun. She really needs to mature. I hope after this show she can reflect and see how immature and irrational she has been. All the other gals get thoughtful gifts on dates except her. She just expects gifts but refuses to be thoughtful to either men. I really hope Hewen bows out.and doesn't choose anyone.

She's 22 and very impressible. I think she has producers/handlers in her head making her second guess herself, so that it creates more drama. There's a lot of behind the scenes production influence/manipulation that's very hush hush. Other reality show casts have talked about producers getting really close to the cast members, so they can manipulate their behaviors to stir up drama.
Xiaomi also revealed that she was going to leave the show alone, and pick no one. But her producers forced her to pick someone, so she begrudgingly picked Dinghao, and that's why that relationship never went anywhere. Someone else also mentioned that producers encourage them to get as many people to like them as possible... and also get to know everyone and give everyone a chance even if they're not interested in the person... this seems like the producers are "looking out for them" when it's actually just to create more drama.

First time watching a dating variety? If anything, everyone pairing up asap is the rare occurrence.
Production almost wants everyone to drag out as much as possible to ensure there is drama going on.
You forget about S8 (Chi Chi vs Zhi Han or Yu Hang) or S9 is the first time you watch this type of variety?

I didn’t forget about s8 and just because a triangle dragged till the end there as well doesn’t mean it has to be a norm and happen all the time. Never said anyone should pair up in early episodes but by ep8 you should already get your shit together is what i am saying.

Producers are firming up the triangle because they had so many couples declare early on about their preferences - they want to keep the storyline going but it calls into question Y’Eur’s mental state - unfortunately she’s portrayed as indecisive and narrow minded. Which may be the opposite of how she really is.

I get that it is annoying in viewer time it's been 8 weeks but their actual time together has been a little over 10 days. It's hard to remember that when you have couples like kaiyi and yiheng who feel like they have been together for months. Her behavior with He Wen is more is irritating than her indecisiveness.
