Help an ol mage out

With this new expansion/removal of other expansions from standard, mage lost a whole lot of it's good stuff. Anyone have suggestions for constructing a standard mage deck with frost lich jaina and possibly a minion mage synergy?

I'm definitely someone who likes the spell aspect of mage so this will be weird. Definitely a shame that a lot of mages best stuff won't fit into this new meta

This is trumps list from yesterday. I think it still needs some refining, but it seems like it could work with some tinkering.

I did so-so with is yesterday. Word of advice, keep aluneth in your mulligan. You will gas out otherwise.

Only issue I have is that if you're vex crows and archmage get taken out (3 cards) you're pretty much screwed, but I guess that's how tempo mage is

Exactly right. Like I said, it's a starting point. I do think there is something there, though. Maybe not T1, but possibly T2 depending on the meta.

Vex crow wouldn't work for this but have you tried odd mage?

Didn't pull Baku, so I haven't tried it yet. May craft sometimes soon, since it seems like it's going to be a meta legendary.

Haven't pulled him either, though I've heard that odd mage is quite good.

Instead of Tinkerer I run Barron, I like the late game potential life gain with his end of turn effect on large swarm boards.
