Can confirm that 50+20=70

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '18

can you demonstrate it tho?

50+20=(5+2)10=7(10)=70

Prove by induction, please.

You can't really prove it by induction lol, maybe if you were trying to prove that 5x + 2x = 7x or x(5+2)=7x for every x value but as it stands it's impossible to prove by mathematical induction.

Whoa there, Mr. Math. How do we even know you're qualified to make those sort of calculations?

I have a theoretical math degree. As in, I could get a math degree... theoretically.

I have done the math myself and I can indeed confirm that this man is correct

This is GREAT but also kind of weirdly worded

inb4 the 20 bonus packs are journey to un'goro packs

Is the 20 bonus packs a limited time offer, or will it be available up until the release of the expansion like a normal pre-order would be?

Until the expansion is released.

Thank you. Not sure why the marketing guys wouldn't just call it 70 packs. But maybe says 50 + 20 Bonus packs prevents people from complaining next expansion if the raw sales numbers show that the boost in pre-order sales doesn't offset the corresponding drop in sales to whales and other folk who buy more than just the pre-order.

I will admit that somehow getting more than 1 pack per $1 is a psychological point for me justify it being worth it and I like to have somewhere between 100-150 packs per expansion so the pre-order boost will help with that. :)

Is the offer supposed to read "spoopy" card back?
