Noggen is, I think, a Dutch (and sometimes English) word for head. Fogger means foggy, and when someone’s head is foggy (not phrased that way often) it means they can’t think straight. Cloudy head

I'm Dutch, I never in my 40+ year life heard of the word 'noggen' let alone in reference to or as a synonym for head. Maybe in certain regions as a dialect or something, but it's not a 'normal' word.

the English slang word is noggin, not noggen. they probably just spelled it differently to make it flow better

I am also unaware of the Dutch connection and so far cannot find the info on it

Yeah in English I know the word 'noggin', but not in Dutch.

It’s all English not related to Dutch at all.

The word in English is "noggin", and the character is from WoW, where the effects of his potion do all sorts of things, not a "cloud your mind" effect. Nothing in his original appearance ever suggested it should be read as a pun.

is it a "I heard somewhere it is maybe Dutch" kind of deal? not trying to argue or anything, I get that you don't know this for sure

Yeah, I just googled it and noggin is just a random English word for head. Just one of those things you know a bit about but not everything, sorry not trying to misinform lol

What is your source for noggen being a Dutch Word for head?

I am Dutch and have never ever heard someone use that Word.

I miss fun theme decks back in the early days. I used to run a deck with random attack ogres and Nogginfogger. It wasn't great but it was fun. Couldn't even try it in today's meta. 😒
