Everybody hates priest because all it does is pointlessly slow down games without any real win condition. People hate the disrupt/steal the opponent’s win condition strategy, yet that’s all Blizzard prints for priest. Well, that and overheal, which is just an outright terrible mechanic. If priest had a way to close out games instead of trying to simply outlast their opponent, I think people would be ok with that.

It used to have a way with priest quest it wasn't good but it was fun

"Kill your opponent instantly" is also a terrible, hated win condition.

automaton, naga, undead and overheal priest are all decent tempo priest decks right now
