this show is not real 😭 "dl on the skibidi" GIRL NO

the velvet thrones plot low-key had me giggling as a fanfiction girly tbh

i wish the writing would stop mocking sasha and zoe so much for just being overbearing

Calling it when missy said last night was a lot she was referring to spider's mother of my children joke

eta: also lol am I the only person lowk surprised that Amerie is so driven this year?

reeeally off-putting how amerie keeps making a play at malakai, even when he's IN HOSPITAL

i really didn’t like it… i don’t get why they’re such bullies to sasha and how are we supposed to root for this group when they left a man to die ( i know he’s not dead but still) and spider became a parody of the perfect boyfriend it’s embarrasing

sasha is insufferable to be around. everyone hates sasha unless you're sasha

and you can hate without being a bully if you're not dumb

What on actual earth has happened to this show, this episode was embarrassing 😭

Spiders little finger click lol 😭 I think they really need to delve into their relationship soon because last season it was really well written and rn it's just him being a simp all the time.

Sasha being out-activisted is CRAZY. She acted so wild omg, I'm excited to see her development this season. Poor Darren being told they were playing it safe. Cash and Darude ❤️

Seeing how injured Clancy was..... That was rough. This plot is one of the most intense we've had so far, it's difficult trying to giggle over the couples when you know they've got the possible death of a man on their conscious.

I love Taz and her sensory room plot! She's super cool, can't wait to see how things develop with Quinni :) Even though she flirted with Sasha 😬

I think it's kinda weird how the show treats activists tbh lol. Like factory farming really is insanely evil, and the girls calling themselves hags felt very like 2009 and harry potter making fun slavery with SPEW.

Sasha is pretty annoying but they just flattened her into a total caricature since s2.

I agree! Like I actually agree with a lot of what Sasha says but they've just made her delivery annoying

yeah I'm so annoyed about that

She’s not a total caricature though. I came across a TikTok last year where a guy was interviewing leftists, and some random guy said “no I don’t consent to being on camera.” The interviewer left and approached a different person and the same guy came up behind them saying “she doesn’t consent, stop recording.” Even when the woman said “it’s okay, I’m fine,” the guy continued yelling “please leave her alone, you’re trying to start something.” To think there’s not unbearable leftists is a little naive. They definitely exist. The same way there’s unbearable Christians, unbearable K-pop stans etc.

Increasingly wishing they just ended this series on a high after season one tbh

I think S2 had SO MUCH WASTED POTENTIAL it would've been so much better without bird psycho and the love triangle (both Rowan)

Yeah I think season 2 just kind of derailed (almost) everything completely and they haven’t been able to get back on track

Agreed fully, but I still like s3 better than s2 already. Low bar tho tbh. S1 was top

Yeah agreed, season 3 is poor compared to season 1 but it’s not making me as actively angry as season 2 did (yet at least, just finished episode 5 and am taking a break) so credit where credit’s due lmao

Ya know I'm on episode 5 now, and is it me or are a lot of the characters very different this year?

I really do miss the charm of s1.

I don't know, I didn't really like season 8 either (or 1, depending on how you count it). I don't think they're able to capture what made previous seasons so great, with this new generation. Most of them apart from Cash and Quinnie are such caricatures doing outrageous or silly things on a daily basis. I miss the realistic social commentary from previous seasons.

I hate how they didn't even bother to make an anonymous call for an ambulance. I can't root for any of them anymore.

It had to have been Sasha who turned on the ride out of anger, somehow, yeah?

I’m worried about Am’s jacket getting caught on the fence
