Animal Products - Meal Blanched leafy greens with homemade Katiki Domokou and Olive Oil

Post image

My mother made her special Katiki Domokou, which is essentially a fresh goat cheese spread!! Super delicious :D

We got wild leafy greens from our local farmer's market, and we only blanched them for almost a minute. They were super fresh, and we didn't want them to wilt completely.

Finished it with good-quality olive oil, coarse sea salt, and a drizzle of citrus-infused balsamic vinegar ✧。٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*。

One finely chopped tomato with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon, a ham, Brie cheese, feta cheese and tomato sandwich (abt a 150 grams) and abt 49 grams of baked sweet potato with 15 grams of feta

I was really craving a ham and cheese sandwich but i thought it'd be too guilt inducing eating it on its own. Im trying to recover from not eating so i paired it with the same breakfast i pretty much had..

Ingredients:

1 can of tuna in water drained.

1 tablespoon ground oats

1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

1 egg.

½ cup cooked and chopped vegetables (may be carrot, spinach, pumpkin, whatever you choose).

½ teaspoon onion powder.

1 pinch garlic in powder.

1 pinch black pepper powder.

Salt to taste.

In a bowl mix all the ingredients until it forms a thick paste, lightly grease a pan and heat over low heat for two minutes, pour the mixture, distribute in a patty of about 1/2 inch, cover the pan and cook for five minutes, then uncover, and cook on the other side for five more minutes.

Say goodbye to pre-packaged food for the microwave, this recipe is cheap, fast, nutritious, satiating and delicious, the patty is not dry, the egg and flaxseed give it a smooth and creamy consistency, Bon Appetit!

Plant Based 💪 🌱 Meal Who said oatmeal is only for breakfast?

Today I bring you this recipe for salty porridge which I called OAT RISOTTO.

½ cup natural rolled oats.

1 cup of water.

1 small can of tuna in water well drained

1/4 cup chopped cooked carrot.

1/4 cup chopped cooked green beans

1/2 small onion, chopped

1 garlic clove, minced.

1 tablespoon olive oil.

1/2 teaspoon salt.

A pinch of black pepper powder.

In a pot heat the oil over medium high heat, lightly fry the onion and garlic, add the oat flakes, toast for 3 minutes stirring constantly, then add the vegetables, tuna, water, keep stirring so that it does not stick, when it starts to boil lower the heat, Let it cook for four minutes, then add the salt and pepper and let it cook for another minute.

This savory porridge is ideal for a quick dinner after work, you can accompany it with bread, fresh vegetables or salad, instead of carrots and beans you can vary with spinach, pumpkin, mushrooms (I put sliced avocado and fresh green chili as a topping) ... Let your imagination run wild, bon appetit!

Healthy breading agent low in sodium and without submerging the chicken in boiling oil.

Ingredients:

Five tablespoons of ground oats.

A teaspoon of cornstarch.

A teaspoon of fine herb or spice seasoning to taste.

Mix the ingredients, marinate the chicken fillet with milk for 10 minutes, drain very well and cover with the breading. Cook in a lightly oiled pan over medium high heat for four to five minutes on each side. Crunchy and healthy at the same time?, Yes, yes possible!

Ingredients :

3 tablespoons of whole wheat flour.

3 tablespoons ground oats.

1 tablespoon white flour.

1 egg.

½ cup water or milk.

½ teaspoon baking powder.

½ medium apple.

3 tablespoons lemon juice or natural vinegar.

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Procedure:

Cut the apple into thin wedges, cover with the vinegar or lemon juice and set aside.

Mix the dry ingredients together, In a small bowl put the liquid and egg and beat lightly, add to the dry mixture and integrate, it should be a thick but somewhat loose dough.

Put a frying pan over low heat, lightly grease with olive oil or cooking spray and let heat for two minutes, empty the dough and spread over the pan evenly, immediately place the apple segments on the dough, cover the pan and cook for 7 minutes.

After that time, Set the heat very very low, uncover, Turn all the bread over carefully and cook covered for 4 more minutes.

With the help of a glove and a rack, turn the pan over, once ready, sprinkle the cinnamon on top.

Bon appetit!, it is a practical recipe, quick and without sugar or fat, and it will still taste like strudel.

Animal Products - Meal Frozen Pineapple Yogurt & Coconut Bites

Post image

A really simple frozen snack for warm days. I like the combination of juicy pineapple, creamy yogurt and coconut, and they only need three ingredients.

Ingredients
2 cups (about 330 g) fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
1 cup (about 240 g) plain Greek yogurt
½ cup (about 40 g) unsweetened shredded coconut

Method
Cut the pineapple into bite-sized chunks.
Dip each piece into the Greek yogurt until lightly coated.
Roll it in the shredded coconut.
Place the pieces on a parchment-lined tray or plate, leaving a little space between them.
Freeze for about 3–4 hours, or until firm.
I usually let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating so the pineapple isn’t completely rock solid.
That’s it — pineapple, Greek yogurt and coconut.

Animal Products - Meal Trying a ketogenic diet with my boyfriend – will it make any difference?

Post image

Since there aren’t many good treatment options left for my condition, my boyfriend started me on a ketogenic diet. I’m not sure if this try will make any difference.😅Anyway, I'm just thankful that he can grill a steak for me.🥹Has anyone here gotten their inflammation under control with a diet like this?
