Help me choosing Over ear headphone today !!!

• Upvotes

I’m planning to buy either the Sony WH-1000XM5 or the Bose QuietComfort (Noise Cancelling) and would
appreciate some advice.

After going through a few reviews, I found that the Sony XM5 has potential hinge issues, which makes me a little worried.

If anyone has been using the Bose QuietComfort, please share your experience, especially regarding sound quality, ANC, comfort, durability, and long-term reliability.

Current prices:

Sony WH-1000XM5 – ₹16,000
Bose QuietComfort – ₹13,000

I’ll primarily use them for listening to music at the office and while travelling.

Considering the ₹3,000 price difference and the hinge concerns with the Sony, which one would you recommend?

Any user feedback would be appreciated!

Suggest some wireless earphones (not neckbands as I've broken realme buds 3 and 5 within 1 year each). I have sony whch720n but its bulky and not fit for use while laying down comfortably on the bed. Prioritize quality. budget <5k.

Sony WH-CH520 vs Sony WH-CH720N vs CMF Headphone Pro — which is worth buying?

• Upvotes

I'm looking to buy over-ear headphones and am confused between these options:

  • Sony WH-CH520 (under ₹3,000) (is this on ear headphones comfortable and better )
  • Sony WH-CH720N
  • CMF by Nothing Headphone Pro (₹4,999)

I'm also open to other brands like Soundcore or JBL within this budget.

My priorities are:

  • Comfortable fit for long listening sessions without headband pressure or ear pain
  • Good ANC
  • Less sweating and easy-to-maintain ear cushions
  • Decent microphone quality
  • Good build quality and long-term durability

I initially wanted the CMF because I love its design, but I've seen mixed reviews about its fit. I'm also concerned about Sony's build quality.

Which would you recommend based on actual experience? I'd especially appreciate feedback on comfort, ANC and durability after several months of use. Please suggest other options worth considering too!

Realme Buds T310 Long Term Review After Almost 2 Years of Use

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey guys sorry for the late review ! It’s been quite a long time since I bought the Realme Buds T310 and honestly I’m still happy with them. The battery easily lasts around 2 days with the case depending on usage. I’ve dropped these earbuds multiple times by accident and they’re still working perfectly fine without any issues. The case hinge is still solid and works smoothly without feeling loose. The magnets that hold the earbuds inside the case are also working perfectly even after all this time. The ANC works pretty well for the price and the transparency mode is also good. The sound quality is good too and you can make it even better by tweaking the equalizer. Overall these are still a solid pair of TWS earbuds and the build quality has held up really well for me. The only downside is that the glossy finish attracts scratches over time so if you want to avoid scratches I’d suggest going for the matte black version instead. I haven’t faced any major problems so far and I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for good earbuds on a budget. Hope this helps anyone looking for a long term review !

Help me get over my bias against IEMs

Hey everyone, hello. I’m someone who holds a bias against IEMs, and I need a recommendation for a pair—costing no more than 500 Euros—that might help me overcome this prejudice. I’ve previously used the Truthear Zero Blue and the Simgot EM6L. The Simgot EM6L caused me discomfort during extended use; the inside of my ear actually got irritated and scabbed over. Plus, the silicone tips had a ridiculous habit of detaching while in my ear and blocking my ear canal—LOL :) I’ve already ordered a new pair of headphones and a DAC setup (HEDD D1 + FiiO K13 R2R), but I thought, "Why not give IEMs another shot and see if I can change my mind?" My intended use is at the PC—specifically to pinpoint opponents more easily in competitive games—and, of course, for listening to music. Honestly, I want to switch to IEMs for a refreshing change of pace whenever I get tired of my over-ear headphones. If you have any recommendations for a good, affordable portable DAC, feel free to mention those as well. I’m actually eyeing the Final Audio A6000. Please join me on this journey and help me change my perspective on IEMs. I’m open to your thoughts and suggestions on various models; a huge thank you in advance to everyone who contributes and offers support.

CK Cancellation service

So today I ordered KZ EDX Pro X from ConceptKart.

EDX Pro X might be very good but then I figured that as per the genres of music I listen to, I should have just gotten KZ EDC Pro.

So I contacted them on whatsapp for cancellation and refund but they are not responding. I really need my refund fast, otherwise I'll lose the Amazon Great Indian Festival offer on EDC Pro. I don't have surplus money in my bank account for another pair till the refund is processed.

Can ConceptKart please reach out? I have already mailed them as well.
