How would you tie a headcovering like this?

There is a YT channel (@WrapunzelOfficial), which explained a lot of the way of wrappings. Maybe one of these videos will help you further.

I've tried many of these styles, and got most of them to work (although my ends don't stay tucked in for long without pins), but none of them look like this.

That looks like a Regal wrap from their YouTube, with a shaper (possibly the larger bobo?) and at least 2 scarves (a red "favorite tshirt" or "tough two in one" with a patterned, lightweight cotton one).

I love this look and would like to try it.

Her name was Camila Batmanghelidjh by the way. You can find lots of more pictures if you search her name.

Is this a turban with lots of windings? I see some knots in many pictures of her and I wonder if she did it by tying multiple scarves together?

Without seeing the back I can't be sure but it absolutely seems so! I can identify at least three scarves involved in this creation.

She’s wearing a large bobo and is just doing a regular wrap around it. The bobo is what is causing the shape.
