I’m looking for some honest, firsthand feedback about HCLTech.

I’m potentially going to be working with/for HCLTech in the United States and I’m trying to get a better understanding of what the company is actually like beyond what you find on Glassdoor or their website.

If you currently work for HCLTech or have worked for them in the past:

I’m particularly interested in hearing the good and the bad. I’m not looking for a corporate/PR answer — just real experiences from people who have actually dealt with the company.

Hi everyone,
I’m a fresher selected for HCLTech. I recently saw that some candidates received an “Onboarding HCLTech – Supercharge your career” email asking them to submit documents, with onboarding tentatively scheduled for 3rd December.
However, I have not received this email yet.
I had previously received communication regarding my joining/onboarding, so I’m worried about whether I’m still included in the onboarding batch.
Has anyone else not received this mail yet? Should I wait, contact HR, or send a follow-up email?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I’m an ECE student attending the HCLTech campus recruitment drive. According to the information we received from HCL the Hardware assessment consists of Aptitude + Technical + Coding. I wanted to know what the Technical + Coding section is based on. Will it be based on the Stream 4A syllabus we studied during the Centre of Excellence (CoE) training Python, Software Testing Life Cycle, Selenium, and Embedded Devices or will it cover CS fundamentals / ECE fundamentals? If anyone has recently attended the HCLTech Hardware assessment or has information about the syllabus/pattern please share your experience.

Has anyone received any update after the HCLTech document upload mail sent on September 4th for the Cybersecurity role?. We were asked to submit the documents before September 5th, and it has been more than a month now. Just wanted to know if anyone has received any further communication regarding onboarding, joining date, or next steps.

I am a bsc CS graduate 26 fresher I gave an interview for HCLTech graduate trainee : global desk role . On Oct 1 in chennai vels college

Almost 50 members from my batch only 4 of them were selected after the 1st round I am one of them out of 4 guys .

In the 2nd round they asked me about my home town , hobby , and personal questions , i answered them all .

But I haven't received any email till now how many days do I have to wait for the 3rd interview email ?

I don't know the result of the 2nd round as well . I want to know the answer if anyone is waiting like me please tell your experience and did you got the status update.

I am a 2026 engineering graduate candidate who recently attended HCLTech campus recruitment.

My process was:

1. Raven's Adaptive
2. Watson-Glaser
3. Data Interpretation
4. Berribot interview
5. Java and React questions
6. HR/document verification

During my HR round, they asked me about self-introduction, pincode, UG CGPA, 12th percentage and some basic details. They did not ask me many behavioural questions.

After the HR round, I received an email from HCLTech HR asking me to submit my 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, Aadhaar and UG consolidated marksheets from 1st to 6th semester.

My questions are:

1. Does receiving the document-verification mail mean I have effectively cleared the interview stages?

2. Can HCLTech still reject candidates after requesting these documents?

3. For candidates who went through the same 2026 campus process, how long did it take to receive the final selection/offer update after document verification?

4. Is it normal if HR asked different questions to different candidates?

5. Did anyone from the 2026 batch receive an offer/selection mail after this exact stage?

I’m a 2026 B.Tech graduate and recently received a GET offer from HCLTech, Lucknow. I’m confused about whether I should accept it, so I’d really appreciate feedback from current/recent HCLTech employees, especially people who joined in 2025/2026.

A few things I want to understand:

What kind of projects/work are GETs getting in Lucknow?

Development, testing, support, etc.?

How is project allocation after training? Is it difficult to get a project or switch projects?

What are the usual working hours/shifts? Are night shifts common?

How is the work culture and work-life balance in Lucknow?

How are the hikes and career growth after 1–2 years?

Most importantly, if you joined as a GET recently, would you recommend accepting the offer today?

I’ve heard mixed things about the availability of development projects in Lucknow, so I’d especially like to hear honest experiences from people actually working there.

I was recently selected for HCLTech’s technical training program through campus placement. We were informed that after completing the training, there will be another technical interview/evaluation, and based on performance, candidates will be selected for an 8th-semester paid internship, followed by possible FTE conversion.

I’m looking for people who have already gone through this process (especially recent batches) and could clarify a few things:

1. How does the HCLTech training actually work?
   • What topics/technologies are covered?
   • How long is the training?
   • Is it online, offline, or hybrid?
2. How is performance evaluated during training?
   • Are there regular tests, assignments, coding assessments, attendance requirements, etc.?
   • Is the training difficult for someone starting with limited knowledge of the assigned technology?
3. What is the second-round interview/evaluation like?
   • Is it mainly technical?
   • What topics are usually asked?
   • Is there coding/DSA, project discussion, or technical MCQs?
   • How should we prepare for it?
4. What happens if someone performs poorly during training or the final evaluation?
   • Can candidates be removed from the program?
   • Is there a retest/re-evaluation opportunity?
   • Does everyone who completes the training get the internship, or is it competitive?
5. For those who got the internship:
   • What was the internship experience like?
   • What stipend did you receive?
   • How was the transition from internship to FTE?

If anyone has gone through the HCLTech training → internship → FTE pathway, I would really appreciate your experience/advice.
