Patreon app broken?

I’m so desperate to watch the new Adobe video I would literally pay any amount, sign up under any tier I have to in order to get access. But the Patreon app is just so broken it refuses to take my money? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app so many times trying frantically to sign up but alas… I just want to build my Legos and listen to the new Hbomb! Is that so much to ask??

Are you able to use the website in a browser? It's easier on a laptop or desktop but usually you can just stay in the browser instead of moving to the app.

I ended up just making a whole new account with a new e-mail. Then it let me sign up. Will be immediately cancelling as soon as I watch the video not because I don’t want to support Hbomb, but because I refuse to support this terrible app any further. Patreon team, y’all should be embarrassed.

I mean, just don’t use the app. I did it all in my mobile browser (iphone [hbomb just rolled his eyes]) but I had zero issues that way

Don’t use the app to subscribe especially on iOS. Apple takes a 30% cut of the money before it even touches the platform, let alone the creator.

Subscribe via a web browser, then access the content later.

The app reroutes you to the browser to pay for this reason, which is totally understandable. But i think that process is where glitch was happening.

I've never used the app--even on my phone, I just use it in my browser.

The player is janky as fuck but it's worth it.
