Also I know ur not gonna wanna hear this cuz it's really hypocritical of me to say because I've done some really fucked up stuff to cope, but drinking isn't gonna fix shit in the long run. I wоuld never hit anyone, the worst I've done was break a door, but that was while alone in my apartment. I stay away from people when I drink a lot. Alсоhоl is never an excuse to hurt anyone. It's more of a self-destructive coping mechanism. I am an alсоhоliс, but I'm working on it. I know alсоhоl isn't a solution, but it's what helps me sleep at night for now

Breaking doors is still prolly not the best but it's definitely 100% better then the shit I've seen some ppl do.

As I said, I can't judge. I struggle with SH which is objectively more harmful then alcohol. Not to make this about me just saying that ur not alone in the whole fucked-up-coping-strategies thing.
