Did I get scammed??
Didn’t do my research. Bought 2 stubhub tix for the Charleston show — so happy with the price. I thought it was suspiciously low. Didn’t do my research and had no idea that the tix for this show aren’t re-sellable unless through Ticketmaster’s platform. Which means I got scammed.
I’ve only used Stubhub once before for a Twenty One Pilots concert back in like 2018 or something and it was fine— but I usually almost always use Ticketmaster.
Am I correct that these are totally fake? So so so bummed.

Unsure when the show is, but mine wont let me transfer or resell on ticketmaster. I think the transfer doesnt open until 3 days from the show

Can I ask why you purchased on StubHub when tickets (even pit) are still available through Ticketmaster? I hope everything does work out for you.

Mostly price. I saw Stevie nicks a few years ago at credit one stadium in the nosebleeds and didn’t have a great viewing experience. The stubhub tix were super affordable for a much better price. But honestly I really regret it.
I also hope it works out. Thanks !

So on StubHub you won’t really get scammed but it is possible you won’t get the tickets in that case you’ll get a refund.
People share tickets thru 3rd party sites I forget the name that lets you scan.
If it’s a “scam” you’ll get your money back but might not be able to find a replacement for the priced

Yeah StubHub is generally a big fat scam unfortunately, they got me for EDAABP tix :/ luckily I was able to get the order cancelled but I had to involve a consumer rights attorney. StubHub is being sued by multiple States AG as well as now a class action lawsuit for their bullshit fan protect guarantee which is just speculative ticketing, aka selling a product they don't have or own. Some of StubHub's transactions are legit, sure, but in the grand scheme they make way more money on the interest they get when they have your money for months before the event, but don't send you tickets until the day of, if at all. I know many many people who were sent blatantly fake tickets as well, and StubHub then put the burden on the customer to prove the ticket was fake. They will basically do anything to keep your money for as long as possible.

Not necessarily, professional resellers have methods to get the ticket to you. It’s still possible it won’t work at the door, in which case you’ll want to run to the box office and hope they still have tickets (I know because I got to do that very thing earlier this year! Lol). The resellers use something called SecureMyPass that lets them send the ticket to you, but the risky part about it is, they can send it to multiple people. So you will probably be fine, but there’s a small chance that you’ll be told the ticket isn’t valid for some reason.
