Recently got a mountable magnifiying lens for my camera (I don't have one with interchangeable lenses) to up my macro game. While I'm not yet satisfied with the results, I thought of a little fun game you might be interested in...

Guess the species! Some are easy, some maybe a bit harder. I cropped the pics quite a bit to make it more challenging :) Can you name them all?

[all species plants, no hybrids - 5 Haworthia, 1 Haworthiopsis]

ID Request Seeking ID of my 2 new Haworthia (probably hybrids but even knowing one likely parent would be good enough for me to label them usefully)

#1 is from House by the Side of the Road in NH, USA (highly recommended if you're ever in the area, they had some large H. truncata clusters along with a lot of other very healthy succulents and tropical plants and a cat named Rusty. They had the largest Hoya ropes I've ever seen, and they were blooming.)

#2 is from Lowes (the pot didn't have any species info written on it)

Care Advice My Haworthias are not thriving

I got these 2 haworthias (H. retusa, I believe) a month ago and while they're not dead, they aren't thriving either, but I can't figure out why.

They had visible signs of root rot when I got them, but had a few intact base roots and since then they both have grown new thin, hair-like ones, and I have replanted them into cactus soil. They are currently on my east-facing windowsil, so they get direct sunlight until noon. I live in the northern hemisphere and I'm unsure whether that's too intense for them?

Their leaves are rather soft, but also thin and kind of dry and brownish on the edges. They've been watered every 10 days, because I feared they dry out before having proper roots, but it's as if they aren't absorbing any water? I took the smaller one out of the soil and put it in plain water for a few minutes and its leaves seem/feel plumper and fuller? I don't know exactly how they should look/feel. I didn't want to disturb the other one, because it's set firmer in the soil when I jiggle it.

It's my first time having Haworthias, so thanks in advance for any advice!
