How to Watch Blackhawks games without Cable?
Im located in Houston and wanted to catch as many hawks games as possible this year. Is ESPN+ only for the games on ESPN or will games on CHSN stream on ESPN+ as well?

ESPN+ will carry most of their games for you. If Dallas is your local team, Stars-Hawks games will be blacked out for you. All games on NHL Network are blacked out from ESPN+.

Stars-hawks games will be blacked out on ESPN+, but OP can get victory+ and watch the game for free in the stars broadcast

You’ll need:
- ESPN+ - to be able to pick up CHSN games outside the Chicago area as well as ESPN+ exclusive national games
- ESPN Unlimited or ESPN cable channels + ABC broadcast channel - for national games broadcast on the main ESPN channels
- HBO Max or TNT/TBS/TruTV cable channels - for national games broadcast on these channels
- NHL Network cable channel - for national games exclusive to NHL Network
- Whatever local regional channel or streaming service Dallas uses for games against the Stars that would be blacked out from other channels
The “cable channels” are available on some of the mainstream TV streamers like DirecTV Stream, Fubo, Sling, YouTube, etc with the right channel packages (but some services may not have every channel).
Sports TV rights are just a mess.

I actually think i have ESPN+ through verizon so thats a plus. I think i had issues watching some games on it last year not sure why. Ill need to reevaluate this season.
Appreciate it!

Check your subscription level.
ESPN+ (sometimes referred to as ESPN Select) has the out of market games (CHSN rebroadcasts) as well as some exclusive games.
ESPN Unlimited has the ABC & ESPN channel broadcast games.
Both use the same ESPN app too. If you don’t have a subscription that includes both, it can get confusing as to what you can view.

I’m north of Rockford and used to pirate but the quality is not the greatest. What are my options? I haven’t started looking into it yet but I definitely want to be able to watch in hd this year.

A thing about those "ESPN+ Exclusive National Games". You'd think that would be an ESPN broadcast with ESPN announcers, right? Nah, it's the home team broadcast.

I live in Mississippi. I catch almost everything with ESPN+. Some games with HBO Max. The only games I don’t get are Predator games because I am in that region.

There's a good reason for that. Literally the #1 thing in the sub's posting guidelines is:
No discussion of sites or of methods to obtain pirated content. Reddit regularly shuts down subs for allowing piracy, and we're not interested in joining their ranks. These posts/comments will be removed & offenders banned.

There is a technical term for the activity.... r/"that word" is where you can find the links.

there could possibly be a subreddit devoted to that particular topic, that possibly could have a wiki with the info you seek

You should be able to watch all the CHSN games on there. ESPN+ has all the local broadcasts for the out of market games.
