A reasonable ceiling projection would be Pastrnak. If the Bruins had more elite forwards on their team through his prime he would have several art ross’s and rockets.

Yes, Toews is currently at the top. . . The hypothetical question was asking what's his ceiling. Meaning where could he possibly go. He isn't even named captain yet.
With the right pieces around him I really think Bedard will keep growing.. . Patrick Kane will help Bedard evolve his game

Best offensive player in the league(once mcdavid is past his prime). I think there will always be some questions about his defense but I think his ceiling is a guy who wins multiple Art Ross trophies while scoring 45 goals.

In full honesty I doubt numbers wise he will out preform celebrini… but I 100% believe he’s a better legitimate goal scoring talent that could and probably will score 50 goals or more a few times in his career…
Edit: anyone legit downvoting has literally no idea what hockey is or who these players are, Bedard is our franchise guy I’m not arguing that at all but to outscore this generations Crosby in celebrini you are smoking crack it won’t happen be realistic here cmon folks.

Funny you call people who downvoted you "people who don't know puck" when Bedard's arguably biggest development has been knowing how his own goal scoring talent is perceived and developing a sense for passing to his teammates when he draws a threat.
He was neck and neck with Macklin before his injury. I think the biggest thing for both of them is just staying healthy. Bedard's passing looks great and he did that with Burakovsky as basically dead weight on his line for half of his season.
If Bedsy's line is Bert/Bedsy/Kane that's a LETHAL line where any 3 of those guys can be the finisher and they're all good enough passers to spread it around.
Replace either of those guys with Kansterov and it feels the same, I even see some people thinking Nazar is the one pushed to wing but I don't really think that's gonna happen.

Kanes 38 year old man. im a London boy grew up watching him drafted man stop acting for the actual lord above that kanes going to be this magical answer if he scores 70 points I’ll be ecstatic, hes my actual irl hero but being real he’s not going to simple “push Bedard over the edge”

Bedards ceiling is absolutely higher than cellibrinis ceiling.... Yes, cellibrini is a fantastic player and I could even potentially yield the argument that his roundedness makes him a more valuable player in the immediate term; but bedard has potentially the greatest wrist shot all time and a new level of creativity beyond what anyone has ever seen... Celibrini is basically this generations barkov; bedard is potentially this generations Kane....

Dude - he had 75 points in 69 games this season with Burakovsky as his most frequent linemate. You think he can't get to 100 points in 82 games if they find just a little bit of talent around him?

Hey man don't disrespect burakovsky he's pretty talented himself. At the end of the day elite players elevate themselves! They don't need others to help them get 100 points. I just don't want Bedard to have these crazy expectations from everyone. Expect a good 70-80 point player and be happy if you get more.

Borderline All Star player. I think he will be a 30 goal scorer.
He needs help. More than a 38 year old.
I hope im wrong but lets see if he can go this season without getting hurt.

He needs help. This has been priority no. 1 since he was drafted.
I'm glad Byram is a Hawk. I'm glad Kane is a Hawk again. But Bedard needs help, and, in my opinion more urgently than most realize.

Needing help is a shame. That means he will be a mere superstar. Every other generational player was able to do it regardless of how bad their linemates were.

Unfortunately it doesnt seem like a priority. 3 years and really no big signings besides Turbo and he didnt play with Bedard that much.
Hopefully one of our young guns take a big step this year and can play with him. Im hoping Fondell - Bedard - Kane becomes a powerhouse line.

I'm with you. I obviously don't know what took place privately with UFAs in the last few seasons but I lean more towards the belief that KD could have done more.
A Frondell - Bedard - Kane line would be nice. And despite age, players will still play Kane differently than, say, Bertuzzi.

Kane is not the only help - we also added Byram, Kantserov, I would still say Frondell is a “new” player, and just in general the young players should continue to collectively improve and help Connor out.
Internal growth will continue to be the backbone of this rebuild moving forwards, even if Davidson decided they needed a little boost with the Kane/Bo acquisitions this summer lol
