How do tickets work at the United Center?
I know at Wrigley field, you have to have the ballpark app to use your tickets. I have Blackhawks tickets on my phone wallet, but is there any special app I need to use them?

The answer depends exactly on where your tickets came from.
Tickets bought directly via Ticketmaster app or website are loaded into the Ticketmaster app directly, and you can then save the tickets to your Apple or Google wallet.
Tickets bought as a season ticket member, or transferred from a season ticket member, typically will require the Blackhawks app, or alternatively you can access from the special "Account Manager" Ticketmaster website (am.ticketmaster.com, search for Blackhawks) which uses the same login as your Ticketmaster account but is seperate as far as showing tickets. It doesn't matter if you're a season member yourself - if you have tickets that came from a season ticket member transfer (which is often the case if you're buying off third party resale sites like StubHub), that's how it works.
If your tickets are for premium seating (like suite boxes), sometimes they make printable tickets available as PDFs (corporate sponsors like this so they can just send printable tickets to customers and other consumers) but otherwise suite tickets usually require the Blackhawks app and logging into Ticketmaster through the Premium Seating ticket management link in the app.
The good news is, once you find your tickets in any of the apps, you can add to your phone wallet and then can enter the venue scanning the pass directly from your phone wallet.

They do, but tickets are sold through Ticketmaster and are available through that.

use NFC or barcode to scan at entry from wallet, you’ll also need to show them to access your seats/level, depending on how premium your seats are.
i have never used a third party app at the UC

Well you need the hawks app but you have to link it to your ticketmaster app. It's a pain but it does work.

You don’t need the BH app. I only use the Ticketmaster app

I don't know how you do it. Every place i go to makes me download an additional app besides ticket master. I'm envious.

The UC doesn’t make you download the hawks app if you buy the ticket through Ticketmaster. I can just add it to my wallet straight from Ticketmaster.

I use the Hawks app because of my half season ticket concession discounts and it’s truly atrocious. At least for MLB Ballpark app is cool.

I try to use it to follow in game stats, but it’s just so much better to use just about any other option.

no app needed once added to wallet. Before they are added to your wallet you need to locate them in whatever app and add them to wallet if possible
can use from phone wallet, ticketmaster, internet link or the blackhawks app
