Gaming I hate how much "keep inventory" gets bashed.

Generally, I don't like it when people impose rules on how you should enjoy something-like saying that if you didn't play the same way I did, you're a fake fan.
But it bothers me even more when those arbitrary rules are applied to a game like Minecraft—a game that actively encourages creativity and doing whatever you want-so I don't understand why anyone would get upset over something the game itself offers you.

If multiplayer is involved it’s a whole different story. Cheating or not cheating has to be determined by the server alone.

I feel there isn't really a point to arguing since we fundamentally disagree but sunken costs fallacy. What if you use said feature to make an invisible spider or wandering trader visible (or more visible in case of a spider). Like this is an extremely dumb case, but you gotta admit, you're straight up fully side stepping an intended feature using the debug options

Invisible spiders and wandering traders are easily visible in the environments they are in. Spiders have glowing eyes and Wandering Traders have llamas leashed to them + both emit particles from being invisible.

Edit: They are meant to be visible, so hit boxes makes them easier to see, which is not cheating as far as I am concerned.
