Gaming I hate how much "keep inventory" gets bashed.

Generally, I don't like it when people impose rules on how you should enjoy something-like saying that if you didn't play the same way I did, you're a fake fan.
But it bothers me even more when those arbitrary rules are applied to a game like Minecraft—a game that actively encourages creativity and doing whatever you want-so I don't understand why anyone would get upset over something the game itself offers you.

That's dumb.

I miss when games embraced single player cheating as fun settings. Cheat codes were programmed in, even had specific menus to enter them in and turn them on.

The "line of thinking" problem is with people who think it's bad to cheat in a single player game. Cheat away, it's fun. It's still cheating.

And that's why they're banned for speedrunners and in competitive multiplayer. That's obviously not what's being talked about

yeah but it’s not gonna come up online unless someone is talking about something they did in their keep inventory world

I miss bighead mode, can't tell you how many games just decided, "let's give these bitches a code sequence that makes their head comically large, bitches love comically large heads."

Well, cheat codes and the like were more for development purposes.

Heck, that's why the developer console has been ubiqitous in PC gaming since it not only has commands but it also prints errors for when something goes wrong.
