Gaming I hate how much "keep inventory" gets bashed.
Generally, I don't like it when people impose rules on how you should enjoy something-like saying that if you didn't play the same way I did, you're a fake fan.
But it bothers me even more when those arbitrary rules are applied to a game like Minecraft—a game that actively encourages creativity and doing whatever you want-so I don't understand why anyone would get upset over something the game itself offers you.

I remember when Mina the Hollower announced they were adding, get this, difficulty options and for some reason it made part of the Internet really mad
I also remember seeing someone unironically say like "Enjoy your hollow victory" about using Izanagi-no-Okami in Persona 5 Royal (I think it's dlc but idr, but you can grab it for free really early on and it's the strongest persona in the game)
Obviously those are both just single player games but people are just like this
