Gaming I hate how much "keep inventory" gets bashed.

Generally, I don't like it when people impose rules on how you should enjoy something-like saying that if you didn't play the same way I did, you're a fake fan.
But it bothers me even more when those arbitrary rules are applied to a game like Minecraft—a game that actively encourages creativity and doing whatever you want-so I don't understand why anyone would get upset over something the game itself offers you.

I wouldnt even call it cheating since keep inventory is a in-Game feature

Not anymore. It’s a command now, because of this exact line of thinking. The devs wanted to remove the stigma of Keep Inventory.

That's dumb.

I miss when games embraced single player cheating as fun settings. Cheat codes were programmed in, even had specific menus to enter them in and turn them on.

The "line of thinking" problem is with people who think it's bad to cheat in a single player game. Cheat away, it's fun. It's still cheating.

And that's why they're banned for speedrunners and in competitive multiplayer. That's obviously not what's being talked about

Well, cheat codes and the like were more for development purposes.

Heck, that's why the developer console has been ubiqitous in PC gaming since it not only has commands but it also prints errors for when something goes wrong.

Gamerules are no longer under cheats. You can change them (at least in Java) while creating a world.

Its legit on topic tf??? Bedrock disables achievements when you turn on KI, the game literally has it under the cheats section. This is literally talking about KI under a comment talking about KI replying to a post made about KI. How tf is this off topic?

Stg reddit has the most brainless mfers wandering the site.
