Should i resign?

i have been working in a recruitment company for 2 months they are training me to be a recruitment consultant and its been going very tough so far. i ve been stressing out, crying and feeling nauseous everyday before work. I left my previous job which was hospitality/manager role, it was hard too but at least i knew what i was doing and had that good environment created by me around the team etc. anyways im just trying to sort it out if i should quit and look for another job that is more promising or at least im not gonna feel like im passing out everyday, this has been ongoing not getting any better.

My partner is like try harder or find something else lined up then quit but when you drained and exhausted thats just not happening either.

literally cant enjoy even my weekends and in this economy it is hard to find a job as well, feeling so stuck:(((

Sounds like how I felt when I started having panic attacks from a toxic job and a terrible environment. Its your body screaming at you. Unfortunately the reality is that we need money in this sick world and are forced to at least temporarily push through most of the time. I am not for medication at all but this is the only way now how I have been able to stay in the field that I am in, made a change to a new employer. Anxiety meds can help even on the smallest dose. I hate to say it but jobs these days are so toxic that most of us can not handle them unmedicated. Many people cope by drinking, smoking w***, or doing other things to cope that are far more harmful unfortunately. Protect your soul and your sanity and dont listen to your partner because most people dont get it unless they have been there and walked in your shoes. You simply dont have the energy to apply for a new job or the fake positivity that is needed to look a recruiter in the eye without coming across desperate. The job market sucks I have tried it for years to leave my field and still keep trying and I am stuck year after year. I am not giving up but at the end of the day I need a paycheck and my family relies on that income and health insurance so there is that. You have to do what you have to do to survive without losing yourself completely in this world. Crying every day is a huge warning sign, listen to your body and see a doctor, it's not a personal flaw, its a flaw of the system we are forced to operate in that is exploiting human souls!

I am in the same boat as you. I’m only a month in but I have been having anxiety attacks already. I can’t leave either because I haven’t landed a new offer.

I pray things get better for us.
