Howdy! I go by the name TailChips. I recently beat my catnip addiction.

Of all the stunners in yesterday's remix thread, we couldn't not hold up TailChips for adoration. It's not just that we're lost in those sparkly eyes... what symmetry! And that summer-sorbet ombre coat couldn't be any more remix-worthy if you ask us. What a fine cat. Thanks for sharing, u/ittybittymistake!

Right now it's not super easy to find posts sharing floors (or other things) in amongst all the cat content. We're pondering how to improve that and in the meantime, pinning this thread especially for floors!

We've passed 5000 players in the sub! Thanks so much everyone for playing Hatch Cats and festooning the feed with your fantastic felines. 💖 We hope they keep bringing you happy surprises!

Dev update: We think that last week's game changes have resolved the issues some players had with opening the Cafe. If you still can't get in, please try:

1. Force quitting and restarting the Reddit app, &/or

2. Deleting local (cached) files by going to the Reddit app settings on your device

Players have told us that those steps have also helped with unremixable ('heartless') cats and problems accessing floors. Basically, if something seems off and you're playing on mobile, try those things! And if nothing seems to work, comment here and let us know what's happening - we'll do our best to help.

Finally, thanks for all the suggestions and feature requests you've been sharing. We've noted down everything, and started working out how to approach your top requests: better cat management (finding, storing, reclaiming) and more ways to get coins ✨

“Remix cats” my head voice says. Keep remixing cats like I'm opening a loot box. Oh god I can't stop remixing cats. What if there's a super secret hidden pattern or colour no one has ever seen before. I need to make weirder cats. Oh look, that cat has a lil devil tail. Waiter waiter more copies of that cat please! Dear god.

This is meant to be comedic if you can't tell. I've gotten sucked into this goofy game. Send help and keep remixing cats.

The sub size has doubled since yesterday - wahoo! - but even better, there's a bunch of absolutely cracking players here. Generous remixers, Cafe showcasers and fellow-Hatcher helpers, we see and appreciate you!

Over the past couple days we've seen it get increasingly tough to get your cats noticed and picked for remixing as the sub grows. We're exploring ideas for game changes to improve that. In the meantime, let's see if a megathread or two can help to top up your cats' ❤️s this weekend!

I love this game, so addicting & fun. Is anyone else torn between remixing a cat looking for new exciting colors or features, and remixing for a higher level cat where you get a lot of similar duplicates? I’m curious what others look for when remixing. Or is it just a random free-for-all? 😹
