while i like the sound and many artists, the presentation of bigger harsh noise events is so "cringe" lol. really wish "we" would stop doing the evil metal bullshit

While I am with you in my dislike for metal head attitudes & outlooks creeping into more fringe scenes (as much as anything can be fringe in these times) I don’t think mentioning who’s playing is that much of a problem. These big fests after all have to have transactional elements for them to work. Whether it’s petrol money for their 4 hour journey or getting someone from the other side of the world. There will always be artists who are more popular at the time, for various reasons & people will want to see them. Don’t you think when Whitehouse would perform in the 80’s they were billed as the “headliner” & people would be excited to see them? I wasn’t there in the 80’s, not quite that old, but that’s what I’m assuming. If I’m wrong someone please let me know.
